The internet site should include contact information including a time when people can call the office and speak to a person live and not on voice mail.

The website needs to be tracked in order to determine the effectiveness of the site so that changes can be made if necessary. The number of visitors per day, the time spent on the site by a visitor, the time a visitor stayed on a particular web page, are all factors that determine the effectiveness of a website. People should be asked, when they call the law office, if they called because they visited the website.

Include the website in a legal directory that will drive traffic to the site while at the same time increase page ranking. It is imperative to have the law firm website ranked on the top of the search engine results pages. The higher the website is ranked the more traffic the website will receive. The legal directory will also index the website pages which makes the site search engine friendly which improves page ranking.

Using articles to promote a website is an effective online advertising method for any business including law businesses. People go online to find information and the more information a law firm includes on its website the more likely potential clients will go that law firm’s website. If the firm practices DUI defense then the firm’s site should have many articles related to DUI defense law.

The law firm that represents DUI clients should have many articles about DUI defense on its website so people facing this charge will go the the firm’s site for information. Once the visitor reads the articles on the firm’s website he will be inclined to contact the office and make an appointment. These are some of the many ways law firm marketing can be done online.

Law firm marketing is commonly accepted today by prospective clients who need to learn about the types of practice carried out by a legal firm. Developing a law firm marketing plan should be deliberate to reach the targeted audience.
