Rapid Mass Traffic – How To Get Frequent Visits From Loyal Website Readers

Getting targeted traffic on the internet is hard enough. You need to optimize your website properly for search engines, post videos to certain sites or participate in social networking sites.

That’s why, once you get the traffic, it is important to make your visitors take certain action or perhaps keep coming back. There are several ways to make your visitors come back, take action and perhaps promoting your website for free. These are some of them:

1. Don’t just leave your website. Update the content frequently. By adding fresh content, people will keep coming to read news and update from you. Search engines also loves fresh and new content. This will improve your ranking and traffic volume.

2. Give them reasons to link back. You can ask joint venture partners to advertise your website in their blog or mailing list. In return, you pay them commission or link back to them. You can also find someone to advertise your product, as long as they are not competing against you.

3. Add an opt-in form to grow mailing list. If you are into marketing for a while, you should realize the importance of collecting email address. You can increase conversion, encourage viral marketing and make your subscribers keep visiting your website. Of course, your visitors need a reason to sign up. Therefore, you need to provide free course, videos, eBooks or software in exchange for their emails.

4. Tell them to add you in their bookmark. There are certain script you can use so people can bookmark your website with just one click. On the other hand, you can also include bookmarking script to popular social bookmarking websites like Jumptags, Mister Wong and Delicious.

5. Ease them to tell friend. You can add tell a friend script to ease people writing email and tell their friend about your website. In most cases, they will less likely going to do this, but if your content is great, the script will be very useful.

6. Your website must be easy to remember. Think about relevant keywords related to your website topic. Don’t make it complicated. Then, register a domain name which is easy to remember. You can also include website banner, logo or attractive graphic.

7. Add footer pages. These are important to add your credibility. Remember to add privacy policy and about us page. This would show people that you are a trusted party.

8. Adding FAQ page will improve conversion. This one is true when you are selling from your website. People will want to find out more about the product or services, therefore, they will check this page before buying.

9. Make your website ranked high for your own brand. Sometimes people don’t want to add your website to their bookmark. Therefore, make sure you think about a suitable brand name and optimize your website for it. For instance, adding backlinks and title tags. By getting good ranking for you own brand, people can easily find your website via search engines.

10. Don’t send too much promotional messages. You can sell to your visitors sometimes, but doing so frequently will encourage people to unsubscribe. Therefore, make sure to give them appropriate content and offer. Respect their request if they choose to unsubscribe.
