By now, it seems like every web entrepreneur knows about Google Adwords. Without doubt it is a fact that with the help of AdWords Google can assist you earn money from home online. Or can it?

I regret to inform you that too many Ad Words marketers lose money. A shame really since they did not take simple steps that would have brought them profits.

In contrast, savvy web entrepreneurs use Adwords & Google to generate income, apparently successfully. They use Adwords to bring prospects to their web page.

Sometimes, what sets apart the Adwords winners and losers apart are that the former use tools while the unsuccessful marketers do not. Sort of like two farmers, one of whom uses a tractor while the other walks behind a mule. Winners, but not losers, know about and take advantage of online tools. Consider these tools:

a. Google Keyword Tool. We have all marveled at how easily Google seems to be able to find info. The Keyword Tool combines that ability with a marvelous spreadsheet like program that is spectacularly useful to Adwords marketers. Among other things, it gives you the PPC position for competition, global search count, rough approximation of cost per click for the number one position for a particular keyword, and more.

The Keyword Tool is particularly useful for gauging competition and strength of keywords. Some online advertisers target non competitive keywords and phrases while many pick out highly competitive keywords. Like anything else in life, everybody has an opinion of how to market profitably.

A keyword is considered non competitive when it has low monthly global visitors, say, between 1500 to 2500 searches monthly. The greater the global search count, the greater the competition for that keyword.

These perform nicely with Adwords and will help you avoid a very common problem for online marketers: overstuffing content by using the same keyword too many times.
